Well, I'm not sure what disco lights have to do with an article about joining Feng Shui with Green Building, but the bottom line is that Feng Shui mixed with proper home design and Green building will yield a very balanced and transformative energy for all aspects of our lives!

Hi Alex,

I think it is more accurate to look at Feng Shui predictions as potentials. When stairs align with a front door, there is a high potential for that to represent a flowing out of income or energy, but it is not necessarily always the case. For my part though, I would never live in a home that had that arrangement!!

Have you had a personal experience where a Feng Shui "prediction" came true vs. one that did not? Would you care to share it here?

Sienna,

You don't have to believe in Feng Shui for it to be working, but it helps! Have you ever walked into a store and then suddenly, for some reason, felt compelled to leave, even though you really wanted something in that store? That happens when we are reacting to our surroundings on some subtle level. It doesn't matter if you call it Feng Shui or energy or chi, the fact is that some places just feel better than others. Feng Shui is a tool for the intentional mind. Decide what you want, place your intention along with accessing energy using Feng Shui wisdom, and see what happens. The hardest part is deciding what you want!!

I could not agree more Adrian! I hope that I am lucky enough to find someone that I love enough to marry again. I think I will. I also think that being aware of the subconscious messages that occur in my home's decor and layout is a good first step in creating that potential future. My point with this article however, was to create the idea of a symbiotic marriage between two design concepts that can propel us to truly honor our planet and our selves.
