The one point you made that really stands out is ALL home buyers want Green features - their requests for those features are just disguised as another term.

People are looking for energy efficiency - they want homes that are not going to cost an arm and a leg to heat or cool.

It is important as a realtor to be able to understand that consumers are looking to save money on the maintance of their homes and correctly interpret these desire usually mean they are looking for a "green" home.

Hi Jeff, That is truly outstanding! I have heard people trying to use for other items but have not heard anyone that has actually done it. Have you tried contacting Steve Stelzer with the Green Building Resource Center Downtown? May I send your email address over to a couple people?

I am curious, I recently built a new home in dotown area and have all of the above but I also added water recovery for irrigation and pool water. I have also set up for toilets but not yet connected because I am concerned about my capacit.
I also have all dual flush toilets.

I am curious about how many people have gone beyond the basics of solar and tankless water heaters.
How many people are doing water recovery and how many have tried to work with the city on connecting something like toilets?
Has anyone utilized there( city required) storm drain storage to be utilized for anything in there house? What plumbers have done any work of this nature?
